My wife and I have been eating at this location for years. We have never been dissatisfied with either the food or service. That is until the last few weeks.
Two weeks ago we went on Saturday night. The place was a little more crowded than usual. We placed out order, sat down and waited. And waited and waited.
I looked at my receipt at the time the order was placed, 6:19 PM. It was now 6:45. I noticed that all the tables that were occupied when we arrived had no food. I looked in the kitchen and saw 3 people. They were cranking out to go orders nothing for in house. I waited another 10 minutes then approached the manger asking for my money back. I asked what the problem was and he replied "nothing". I took my money and departed.
Thinking this might just be a bad night we went back a few days later. While service was a bit slow we did get our food fairly quickly. The problem neither of the orders were correct. Did not complain just ate and departed to never return -

This place was a complete disaster! The kitchen area looked like my kids bedroom and I ordered a very easy and fast thing to make Chicken Flautas and after 20 minutes I had to go to the front and ask where my grub was!?! Well Mr Smartass's answer was we're going as fast as we can! I call BULL SHIT!! They had three cooks standing back there wading through the nasty in the kitchen doing nothing and when I told him he was full of it my food came out within 3 minutes!
Now let's talk about these things! They were so full of grease you didn't even need to chew them, just deep throat them! They will slide right down! I really used to like this dump, but I guess they are big enough now they just give a damn about the customer anymore, which is a damn shame! -

I wrote a recent review of another Taco Cabana location where we waited 43 minutes to get our food.
To that end we tried a different location of Taco Cabana this week.
The person taking orders also was cooking food when we walked in. So they are definitely under staffed. The food came out in under 10 minutes which was good for them. However my Chicken Quesadillas were burned. I'm not sure what to say about that other than it's hard to take orders and cook too.
There are other Taco Cabana locations near my home. We will try other locations and I will review those locations as we go there. I will post a picture of my burned quesadilla shortly. -

Was once my favorite place to go. But the night we went the food was cold it was look like it had been laying there all day. And the place was filthy absolutely dirty dirty dirty . I believe I will not go to the Plano taco cabana anymore I will go down to the Richardson taco cabana because they seem to have it all together. Really very very disappointed. The employees didn't seem to care that we thought the food was cold and not good very they were very indifferent. I will not be surprised if that taco cabana closes in the near future.
For my rating the place doesn't married any stars at all. I hope someone really does read this review and get in there and try to get those employees to do a better job. -

Well decided to have some breakfast tacos this morning and Taco Cabana was the place I decided on. The order was printed and the receipt that goes to the kitchen somehow was thrown away, I see people ordering and getting their food, still no order so the kitchen lady that delivers the orders notice that we are still waiting and she asked us let me see your receipt so I showed it to her. She said can I take this receipt I said of course. She went and made the order herself and brought it out to me and apologized for the wait which I was ok with it. Now the manager or supervisor was a different story, she comes out and tell us that they ran out of empanadas which hey it happens so she offered us something else which we took. The thing here is if you are a manager which the word manager means to manage your place and represent the company you work for put a smile on your face even if you don't want to work that type of job and learn to be a little more sympathetic to your customers. Sorry Taco Cabana but I am not coming back!! you can keep your tacos :-) Now I know why this place has such crappy reviews.
